1971 Mercedes Benz 300 SEL 6.3 WAS 65,000 NOW 55,000 - £55,000.00

1971 Mercedes Benz 300 SEL 6.3 1 of only 702 right hand drives built and one of the rarest post war Mercedes. Finished in mid blue (non metallic) with blue trim and cream steering wheel. Period alloys, automatic, PAS with electric sunroof & windows. We have known this car from being an average example to now, and it has undergone a wonderful £61,000 restoration in the past 12 months. It was stripped down to the shell and all rot was re-metalled with new inner and outer sills by Mercedes. The interior was completely re-trimmed, the PAS and brakes were overhauled and the starter motor and alternator re-built. The air suspension was overhauled, the engine removed and engine bay painted and woodwork/veneers refurbished. The car also still has its period workshop manual. These 6.3 Mercs are now almost impossible to find and were really very quick cars in their day!
